Many AP manufacturers recommend APs be mounted in a horizontal orientation. Secure APs from most manufacturers in areas where wall mounting may be required, such as residence halls, hotels, and other hard lid venues. The AP is partially recessed into the right-angle bracket, exposing only the antenna face of the AP. Conduit, raceways, and cable can be terminated in the bracket. The AP can be locked in place using the manufacturer’s locking features. Specify AP and model when ordering.

Many AP manufacturers recommend that access points be mounted in a horizontal orientation, which may be difficult when mounting on walls. Model 1009 mounts and secures APs from most manufacturers in areas where wall mounting may be required, such as residence halls, hotels, and other hard lid venues. High-density WiFi installations require a large number of WAPs to be mounted throughout the facility. The Model 900 mounts and secures WAPs from many vendors directly on the wall, with a convenient location to terminate the cable. Model 1045 is a sturdy, above-ceiling hanger bar designed to support APs from most leading vendors. When the AP must be mounted above the ceiling, the Model 1045 secures the AP in the right location just above the ceiling tile. A support wire is included to ensure compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC®) Section 300-11, requiring an independent support. The 1045 also includes a light pipe, which can be pressed through the ceiling tile to enable observation of the APs status LED without lifting ceiling tiles.

Model 1044-CCOAP is an economical, aesthetic, and easy-to-install suspended ceiling mounting kit for wireless access points from most vendors. The WAP recesses into the ceiling tile and the trim creates a professional finished appearance. The WAP is recessed in the preferred ceiling orientation much like a recessed light fixture, providing ideal, unobstructed wireless coverage. Access point trim can be easily swapped out for new trim if the WAP brand or model is changed in the future.
