InformaCast® provides an innovative network-based solution for mass notification, emergency communication, overhead paging and clock and bell scheduling. It allows you to simultaneously send an audio stream and/or text message to multiple IP phones, IP speaker endpoints, computer desktops, and overhead paging systems. With the push of a single button on an IP phone or a single click from a PC, you can send a live, recorded, or scheduled broadcast to one or more paging groups.

InformaCast has the following real-life applications:   • Every-day notifications. Tell a coworker he/she has a call on Line 1 or tell employees that email is down. • Emergency notifications. Notify people onsite at your organization quickly and efficiently.  • Organizational notices. Give the CEO the ability to send a message to the entire company while the Marketing Director can only send to the Marketing Department. • Zoned paging. Page all of the Branch Managers across your company. • Education. Consolidate all paging, bells, and clocks to a single server at the district  office and IP speakers with clocks at the schools. • M2M plugin and contact closures. Use Singlewire’s M2M plugin to integrate building systems

InformaCast has the following features/benefits:   • Create live, ad-hoc, or pre-recorded audio broadcasts and/or text broadcasts • Send notifications to a variety of endpoints • Create recipient groups by location, device type, description, or other variables • Filter access to messages and paging groups by user • Schedule messages to be sent at a preset time or on a recurring basis • Use message confirmation to confirm the receipt of certain messages and escalate messages to new recipients if confirmation settings aren’t met  • Use the Bell Scheduler’s calendar format for complex ringing environments such as schools; schedule and modify passing bells for an entire district as needed
